Tennis for Life’s teaching professional Taylor Dodd was awarded the prestigious Newcomer of the Year from the Professional Tennis Registry at the first PTR Women’s Coaching Summit on September 23-25 at IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida. Taylor started her coaching career with Tennis for Life at Herman C. Michael Park in 2019 while attending UGA. Since graduating from UGA, Taylor has assumed more responsibilities with in the organization. Since August 2021, Taylor has earned her Level 1 and Level 2 certification and attended all of the PTR-W Atlanta events. She continues to grow as a coach – developing positive coaching and creating an impactful environment while understanding the key challenges for women coaches and how to overcome them.
