2nd Annual OTP Summer Championships
June 28-29, 2008

On June 28-29 Tennis for Life (TFL) and the Oconee Parks and Recreation Department held the Second Annual OTP Summer Championships at the new Oconee Community Complex.

The two day event drew thirty-five TFL participants in three different tournament events. Champions from the main draw tournament include Star 4 winner Alec Chen, Tennis Academy winner Kerry Nozum, and TATT winner Kevin Do. The runner-up finishers were Dave Sloan (Star 4), Rebecca Bruning (TA), and Takashi Koga (TATT).

Tennis for Life and the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department would like to congratulate all the players and tournament director Mike Melen on a successful event and thank the parents for their efforts and continued support.

Athens Recreational Tennis League
FALL 2008 SEASON

The Athens Recreational Tennis League (ARTL) is a local league managed by Tennis for Life, Inc. The ARTL is an opportunity to play competitive tennis matches and meet new tennis friends in the local Athens area.

It is open to Men and Women, available to play during the daytime, evenings or weekends, who would like to play fun, competitive tennis matches with the recreational spirit.

Weekday Women play weekday mornings. Business Women, Men and Mixed Doubles play evenings and weekends.

season begins: OCTOBER 6th
