Background:
Chenelle, who is originally from South Africa, joined the Tennis for Life staff in late 2007 with the most impressive resume ever seen by Stacey, the Director of TFL. Chenelle is highly motivated and highly qualified and highly professional! At the same time, Chenelle is kind, caring and patient which are important attributes of all good coaches and instructors. Tennis for Life is very proud and very excited to have Chenelle on the staff.
Tennis
Experience:
Chenelle has competed on the professional level. As a junior she was listed as, 'International Tennis Federation List of Top Junior Ranked Players in the World'. She was awarded 'Sports Woman of the Year' in Meyerton, South Africa.
Chenelle graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. During her intercollegiate career, Chenelle was a Division 2 NCAA All American in 2002. Chenelle completed her collegiate career being awarded 'Georgia College and State University Senior Female Athlete of 2005.'
Teaching Experience :
Chenelle began her teaching career in New York at ‘Total Tennis’ She coached and instructed tennis on a professional level, performed demonstration matches and provided individual lessons. She coached local and international teams and players of all ages.
Most recently, Chenelle has been the Head Tennis Coach/Professional Tennis Instructor at the ‘Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls’ in South Africa.
Hobbies:
Chenelle enjoys the game of golf and traveling the world!
