COTA Goals

The Clarke-Oconee Tennis Association (COTA) was organized by a group of players who live in the two counties. Our charter was received in April 1999. Our Goals are to:

  • Promote tennis as a lifetime sport through a variety of activities for all ages.
  • To support existing programs and to help plan new programs
  • To support the building of additional facilities
  • To promote public accessibility of existing courts

Although our name indicates a two-county affiliation, our service area also includes Ogelthorpe, Jackson, Barrow, Madison, Morgan and Walton Counties.

Community Tennis Associations in northeast Georgia do not compete with NEGTA, whose primary purpose is to coordinate and expand adult USA League Tennis.
