Q - What is ARTL?

The Athens Recreational Tennis League is a local league managed by Tennis for Life, Inc. The ARTL is and opportunity to play competitive tennis matches and meet new tennis friends in the local Athens area.

Q - Who plays ARTL?

Men and Women, available to play during the daytime, evenings or weekends, who would like to play fun, competitive tennis matches with the recreational spirit.

Weekday Women play weekday mornings. Business Women, Men, Mixed Doubles, Parent-Child play evenings and weekends. Seniors play days and/or evenings and weekends!

Q - When is ARTL Played?

The ARTL has 3 seasons: Spring, Summer and Fall. This is the schedule for 2011,

Q - How long is each season?

Each season is aproximately 6-8 weeks in length. This depends on the number of entrants in each division.

Q - What divisions are played?

The ARTL hosts many divisions and levels.

Levels are with NTRP ratings, if you are not familiar with NTRP click here or call the Bishop Park Tennis Office for clarification. Players must play at their NTRP level or higher.
